Before Midnight
When the clock strikes twelve...
Room Layout
This is a two people group work created using the program ‘Blender’ to create an interactive game.
This is a story-based point-and-click game with multiple endings according to how observant the player is.

Each room was indicators of time. With a total of twelve rooms, passing a room equals to passing an hour in game.

I am responsible for the idea, story, programming, animating and modelling of the crow and knife.
Flow
As the player you are required to navigate and explore the room and find clues to know what is happening. The two people’s expression, the diary and the crow, which is required as the key towards the next room, are clues to what is happening in the story.

As the story proceeds, the player may realize they are travelling in time when they go through a room indicated by the clock on the wall. More and more horrifying things will happen and the player is required to find and pick up a knife hidden in 9 o’clock till 11 o’clock room to defense him or herself to lead to the good ending.
